Abstract

The second part of the article deals with methodological aspects of development of specialized methods of landscaping design for historical cities, peculiarities of multi-factor multi-criteria assessments necessary for solving practical problems, substantiates the use of mapping methods for a comprehensive assessment of objects and territories using expert evaluations and scaling. The prospects of developing specialized design methodology in the form of information and
analytical models for the pre-project research and "project" stages are shown; the use of models in the sectoral GIS is substantiated. Examples of models for the development of improvement projects of historic districts and natural-historical areas are given.
