Abstract

The article presents the results of scientific research and engineering developments related to theoretical and experimental studies of mass transfer processes during corrosion of concrete and reinforced concrete in liquid aggressive media. The problems of durability and reliability of building structures are investigated, scientific, methodological foundations and means of solving such problems are developed. The kinetics and dynamics of the development of corrosion processes of concrete and reinforced concrete are studied, which allows: to determine the conditions for the occurrence of destructive processes, the causes of their acceleration or weakening, to develop a mathematical apparatus for describing and predicting the development of corrosion processes, which together makes it possible to control the processes of corrosion destruction of building materials and structures. Mathematical models describing the processes of corrosion of reinforced concrete in liquid media of varying degrees of aggressiveness have been developed. A new theory of forecasting the corrosion processes of reinforced concrete is proposed based on the phenomenological equations of mass transfer and the theory of controlling the corrosion resistance potential of the structure. The timelimits are set for the achievement of a sufficient amount of aggressive substances in concrete for the development of reinforcement corrosion under various exposure conditions.
