Types of Group Urban Development Systems in Interagglomeration Territories

Abstract

The article deals with the problems of the development of group urban systems – the main structural elements of interaglomeration territories. The range of problems requiring special attention to their development is determined, the position of group urban systems (GUS) in the structure of these territories is investigated, their differences in a number of characteristics are determined. Group urban systems are distinguished as structural elements of settlement, which allow the most effective development of interagglomeration territories. The characteristic landscape, planning and transport characteristics and features of group urban systems, their typology according to structural characteristics for the formation of strategies for the development of the territory are presented. Based on this research, methods for the development of group urban systems have been determined.
