Vertical Gardening. Regulation Experience

Abstract

he article addresses the issue of implementing vertical gardening, successfully applied in foreign projects, into Russian architectural practice. The research identifies the crucial role of a creative tandem of an architect and a dendrologist in developing an original solution based on a specific plant cultivation technology, followed by typification and mass reproduction. Domestic vertical greening projects are of an experimental nature and are hindered by the lack of regulatory requirements and an adapted methodology that takes into account regional peculiarities. The article outlines the key typological parameters, construction techniques, and measures to ensure the reliability and safety of vertical gardening.
