Abstract

The second part of the article provides a rationale for the the use of semantic approaches to the analysis of the identity of the architectural and spatial environment of regional capitals. The possibility of applying the principle of a theoretical model of the semantic framework of a regional capital city for this analysis is considered. The principles of constructing the semantic framework of a regional capital city at taxonomic spatial levels are determined. The factors influencing the elements and features of building the semantic framework of a regional capital city are identified.
