This article introduces an experimental model of a modular residential system tailored for deployment in the extreme conditions of the Far North. The design emphasizes adaptability, sustainability, and functionality, addressing the logistical and environmental challenges posed by remote and harsh climates.
Floor plans have been meticulously developed to meet practical requirements, prioritizing compactness, ease of transportation,
and rapid assembly. Special attention has been paid to ergonomic solutions, including standard-sized amenities, to optimize the
use of limited space while ensuring comfort.
A critical feature of the system is the inclusion of triangular support pillars designed to prevent the melting of permafrost. These pillars suspend the modules above the ground, allowing airflow to cool the underlying soil and maintain stability. This innovative approach minimizes environmental disruption and ensures the longevity of the structure in sensitive ecosystems.
Ethnical and cultural considerations have been seamlessly integrated into the architectural design. Drawing inspiration from
traditional building techniques and motifs of indigenous communities, the modules honor the cultural heritage of the region while meeting modern construction standards. These elements enhance the aesthetic appeal and foster a sense of connection with local traditions.
The proposed modular system represents a significant advancement in creating sustainable, transportable, and culturally
sensitive housing solutions for the Far North. By addressing critical challenges such as ground stability, logistical feasibility, and
cultural integration, this model offers a versatile framework for residential and operational needs in remote northern territories.
