The possibilities of using the current technology of tracking gaze movement to study the perception of architectural forms are considered. An experiment was conducted on the perception of the composition of two well-known competitive projects of the constructivist era – the building of the People's Commissariat of Industry (authors – I.I. Leonidov and brothers A.A. and V.A. Vesnin) by three independent participants-viewers. The method of obtaining the results is described, the analysis and processing of the obtained data, presented in the form of eye movement maps and heat maps, is performed. As a result, the peculiarities of visual perception of all participants of the test group were revealed. The ways and possibilities of fur-ther research in the field of objective numerical control and correction of visual perception of architectural objects are identified, contributing to a deeper understanding of the impact of architectural space on humans.
