The Retinue Building of the Livadia Ensemble: Six Executive Drawings by Architect N.P. Krasnov, 1912

The article introduces into scholarly discourse working drawings of the Retinue Building in Livadia, bearing the signature of architect N.P. Krasnov and held in the collection of the Russian State Historical Archive (RGIA). The building has the protected status of a cultural heritage site of federal significance and forms part of the "Palace Building Complex" ensemble of 1910–1911. For the first time, original design materials are used to analyze the layout and composition, exterior and interior decoration of this prestigious residential building, as well as its role in shaping the ceremonial part of the imperial residence in
Crimea. The study also draws on other rare historical and contemporary visual materials: the architect's original sketch (1909), photographs documenting the construction process (1911), and on-site photographs of the interiors (2020). The results may be used in the restoration of this significant heritage site.
