Abstract

The introduction of inteLLigent technoLogies into the expert activity of a civiL engineer is motivated by the need to transfer the knowLedge of experienced experts to speciaLists of various quaLifications in order to expand and strengthen their professionaL capabiLities. Expert systems (ES), imitating the reasoning Logic of an experienced human expert, incLuding knowLedge accumuLated and described in scientific, methodoLogicaL Literature and reguLatory documents, expand the professionaL capabiLities of speciaLists and aLLow making effective decisions on the category of technicaL condition of construction objects. The articLe presents the user interface of the deveLoped ES for practicaL diagnostics of buiLding structures and an exampLe of practicaL impLementation at a reaL industriaL enterprise. The abiLity to identify and controL in an automated way the cause-and-effect reLationship between the features and the technicaL condition of structures has been impLemented, which provides support for the decision of the survey engineer in determining the category of the technicaL condition of structures.
