Abstract

The article is devoted to the third wave of Russian neoclassicism, covering the period from the 1990s to the 2020s, the major implemented projects of which occurred in the 21st century. The purpose of the article is to theoretically comprehend the direction, determine the genesis, stages of evolution and the formal concept of style; clarify the range of architects and main buildings; make a comparison with the two previous waves of Russian neoclassicism – the beginning and middle of the twentieth century.
