Standardization of modular buildings and their design solutions
Main Article Content
Abstract
The article discusses the design solutions of reinforced concrete modules, including large-sized ones, as well as those on a steel frame, which are currently produced in Russia.
The increased volume of construction of modular buildings at the beginning of the 21st century is hampered by an insufficient amount of regulatory and advisory documentation that makes it possible to speed up and improve the quality of the design and construction of buildings for a wide variety of purposes.
In 2023 TsNIIPromzdaniy, by order of the FAU FCS of the Ministry of Construction of the Russian Federation, developed GOST R "Modular buildings and structures. Terms and Definitions. Classification".
The purpose of the national standard was to develop a classification and clarify the terms and definitions used to designate modular buildings and the modules themselves.
In the terminology for modular construction in the developed GOST R, a "module" is understood as a volumetric structure intended for the construction of buildings or use as a separate object.
The article provides block diagrams for the classification of modular buildings and individual modules and makes proposals for further improvement of regulatory documents in the field of modular construction.
