The Problems of the Formation of the Architecture of Theatrical and Entertainment Buildings and Complexes of a New Generation

Abstract
The article presents the results of research on such problems of formation of architecture of theatrical and entertainment buildings at the present stage as insufficient funding for the construction of theatrical and entertainment buildings; difficulties associated with the incompetence of customers, errors in the drafting of design assignments and competitive programs; the connection of incompetence of architects with the increase in financial costs and construction time; the discrepancy between the real situation in the design practice and the regulatory framework. It is theater architecture, significant and unique, that attracts the close attention of society. The article sets tasks and outlines promising directions for the formation of the architecture of theater and entertainment buildings of a new generation. The necessity of interaction between theorists, practitioners, and teachers at architectural universities and faculties specializing in this area of design in the improvement of scientific, regulatory, and methodological bases is noted.
