On the History of Positioning of the Transport Infrastructure of the Crimea of Modern Times: the Crimean Bridge and the Tavrida Highway

Abstract
The article dedicated to the 5th anniversary of the opening of the Crimean Bridge teLLs about the history of the construction of a way crossing through the Kerch Strait. The first attempts to buiLd a bridge made after the Eastern (Crimean) War by British engineers, the unfuLfiLLed project of Emperor NichoLas II and Gustave Eiffel, the German cargo cabLe car across the Strait of 1942-1943, the yeLLow road bridge for participants of the YaLta Conference of 1944, the bridge project of 1949 are anaLyzed. The author aLso anaLyzes the options of unfuLfiLLed bridge projects across the Kerch Strait, proposed in 2015-2016. The articLe presents the chronoLogy of construction, the main stages of construction and technicaL and economic indicators of the bridge. The unity of the transport and Logistics structure of the Crimean Bridge and the Tavrida highway is emphasized. The author aLso taLks about scientific research and unique archaeoLogicaL finds found during the construction of the bridge and highway.
