Abstract

The article discusses the process of virtual reconstruction of the historical appearance of the industrial architectural
monument “Varnitsa Nikolskaya” (salt boiling house or saltworks), located in the city of Usolye, Perm region. Varnitsa is the only
stone saltworks in the country, the ruins of which have survived to this day. The digital model was created using the point cloud
information modeling method. Then, based on the resulting model and archival materials (plans, photographs, descriptions), a
virtual restoration of the lost space-planning elements and structures was carried out. Restoration of the roof, due to the lack of
information, was carried out on the basis of an analysis of archival drawings of analogous saltworks. The result of the work is an
information model of the brewery and renderings created using Twinmotion software. A three-dimensional model of the restored
salt industrial complex in Usolye, which includes the Nikolskaya Varnitsa, is shown.
