Adapting Courtyard Drainage System Designs to Changing Climate Conditions
Main Article Content
Abstract
In the conditions of global warming increase in intensity and change of seasonal behaviors of the dropping-out rainfall, increase in a ground water table, growth of temperature and evaporability is almost everywhere observed. It leads to change of hydrological conditions and influences design methods of domestic water disposal systems. There is a need of use of modern climatic scenarios, stochastic model and hydrometeorological models for assessment of extreme loadings. In article examples of application of new approaches to the solution of this problem in the Russian and European cities are given. The conclusion is drawn on need of adaptation of design decisions to conditions of the changing climate for ensuring stability and overall performance of domestic water disposal systems.
