Architectural and Constructive Techniques in the Design of Energy-Efficient Arctic Settlements
Main Article Content
Abstract
For the active development of the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation, the construction of comfortable housing is one of the main tasks in social development field. Based on the experience of construction and operation of buildings in the northern territories, the main architectural and construction techniques in the design of Arctic settlements are considered. In the new construction of the Arctic regions, it is necessary to plan the quarterly development of energy-efficient multifunctional residential complexes (MRC) with full engineering arrangement. Space-planning solutions of the MRC have been developed, that meet the requirements of energy efficiency and comfortable living in the extreme conditions of the Arctic. The basic principles of choosing a constructive and technological solution of residential complexes are proposed, depending on the transport and logistics scheme and the organization of small-scale production of building materials based on local raw materials. The analysis of constructive methods of designing enclosing structures of energy-efficient buildings is carried out taking into account the specific climatic conditions. The problems of engineering support of residential buildings in the Arctic regions are considered.
