About Safety of Hydraulic Structures of Ponds and Urban Coastal Areas of the Moscow Megalopolis

Abstract

Assay values of natural researches on assessment of technical condition of water objects of Moscow and methods of definition of a zone of flooding behind a cascade of ponds are given in the megalopolis. On the basis of the executed researches calculation of parameters of a wave of break and size of probable damage as a result of failure of hydraulic structures at break of the pressure head front of a number of capital ponds is made various methods. The analysis of the received results of calculation is carried out. The prospects of transition to empirical dependences for assessment of dynamics of development of accident taking into account a damlocation in a cascade and absence a skid in the downstream from the below-located dam are shown. Recommendations about development of the system of measures for safety of hydraulic structures which destruction canlead to catastrophic consequences for the city are mad.
