Abstract

The work is devoted to the study of the dynamic characteristics of structural materials used in the elements of span structures of bridges. The influence of the composition density, the presence and type of hollow fillers, as well as the presence of fiber on the indicators of the mechanical loss coefficient and the dynamic modulus of elasticity is investigated. Tests are carried out on standard samples by the method of experimental modal analysis, the results of which determine the frequencies and forms of natural oscillations, and the value of the loss coefficient corresponding to each of the natural forms. Using an analytical expression for the frequency of natural oscillations of a hinged beam, the values of the dynamic modulus of elasticity are determined.
