The Architectural Coloristic Design of the Berezniki’s Central Streets

Abstract
The article retrospectively examines the color solutions of the facades of residential buildings built in the 30s–80s of the last century in Berezniki, Perm Krai. The typology of the city's development and its current state are analyzed. The residential Fund in "Stalin", "Khrushchev" periods is considered. Two color schemes are offered for them. A coloristic solution of the central streets is proposed on the basis of domestic and foreign examples of renovation of housing the first mass series. It is shown how a smooth transition from warm to cold tones creates a relationship between historical and modern buildings. The balance of neutral color solutions and bright color accents in typical mass-produced houses is created due to their location on different sides of the street. The color solutions of individual buildings and streets are based on the standard RAL Design color catalog. The color combinations of walls, roofs, plinths are shown depending on the typology of buildings. The color scheme of architectural dominants is developed.
