Abstract

The article considers the main historical stages in the formation of the phenomenon of the Moscow architectural school as a three-century legacy of the unity of creative practice, science, and education, concentrated in the activities of the current Moscow Institute of Architecture (MARKHI). The world achievements of the school at each time stage, both those generated by the influence of practice and those that influenced its development, are emphasized.
