Generalized Correlation Coefficients and Their Applicability for Determining the Properties of Concrete during Testing
Main Article Content
Abstract
The work is devoted to identifying the geometric meaning of the paired correlation coefficient, as well as the multiple correlation coefficient. Broad generalizations of these coefficients are made. A new type of multiple correlation coefficient is proposed - between a set of independent variables and a set of dependent variables. Examples of the use of the proposed generalized correlation coefficients are given. Their advantages over conventional correlation coefficients are shown.
