Concept for the Preservation and Development of the Historical Development of the City of Borovsk in the Kaluga Region

Abstract

The article highlights methods for assessing the urban planning structure, landscape, natural composition system and building of the city of Borovsk as integral zones and elements combined into a single figurative urban planning system; based on the study and systematization of factors of the uniqueness of the urban planning structure, its construction, features of the compositional system and the uniqueness of the building, an exposition model of historical planning zones, ensembles and fragments is presented., which makes it possible to reveal the historical significance and cultural potential of the city of Borovsk in the organization of tourist and recreational activities; the analysis of violations in modern urban planning activities, which leads to irreparable damage to the unique urban planning and architectural heritage of the city of Borovsk.
