Architecture of Minsk of XX-Early XXI Centuries: Time, Society, Style

Abstract
The article deals with the development of style features of Minsk, the capital of Belarus, within the last 120 years. One can trace the connection between the change of architectural styles (from Byzantine-Russian to Post-Modernist) and social, economic, and cultural changes in the society. On the basis of spatial and temporal architectural theory as a system of living environment, the author specifies style peculiarities of the architectural environment as characteristic features and signs of spiritual state of the society.
