Abstract

The article provides an overview of approaches to solving the problems of creating digital twins using graphics engines in information modeling problems. The results of comparison of existing solutions based on Unreal Engine and Unity are presented. The process of preparing initial data for a complex of construction objects and the territory as a whole using the Archicad and Blender programs, as well as Lidar technology for recreating and clarifying specific space objects is described. There are three stages of preparing a model for implementation in an application, including importing prepared object models, setting up the environment and visual effects using Lumen, and developing functions within the model. The process of creating dynamic functionality and developing model components, implemented using the capabilities of the Unreal Engine game engine, is detailed. The conclusion is made about the prospects of using Unreal Engine for solving architectural and engineering problems.
