Main Article Content
Abstract
The article discusses the similarity of the patterns of formation of natural and urban systems as a natural organic process, gives examples of the origin of ancient cities, village planning, settlement systems in Europe; the forms of development of centric and linear urban planning systems are analyzed, on the examples of the transformation of the cities of Vienna, Geneva, Milan, the theoretical provisions formulated by a number of researchers and authors are given on the types of existing urban planning systems and the patterns of their formation, the requirements for their design, promising development models, and new approaches to modeling urban systems, taking into account the study of natural processes and phenomena; highlights information about new directions in the study of natural processes and scientific experiments on the use of patterns of water movement in engineering infrastructure and environmental design, the concept of development and modelling of urban systems based on the principles of organic connection with nature, the need to develop scientifically based forms of development of urban systems from settlement to settlement, highlights new patterns and the genetic code of the development of urban systems, similar to natural processes, gives recommendations on the use of the principles of organic architecture and urban systems in architectural and urban planning practice.
