The Origin of the Language of Architectural Spatial Forms: Substantiation of the Hypothesis

Abstract

The proposed hypothesis is based on the fact that the letters of ancient alphabets were assigned numerical values. The study substantiates a system of numbering the key points of the square, tetrahedron, and cube. It demonstrates how substituting
letters for numbers makes it possible to form certain words as stereometric constructions. This approach reveals correlations
between the faces of a three-dimensional body and the cardinal directions, as well as indicators of its division into upper and lower, right and left halves. Possible plastic modifications of the initial geometric structure are examined. A version of the sequential
unfolding of two- and three-dimensional space from a one-dimensional origin is proposed. The conclusion presents testimonies
illustrating the belief that the world was created by the Word.
