Improving the Reliability of Multi-Storey Reinforced Concrete Frame Buildings
Main Article Content
Abstract
The article describes a method for determining the responsibility indicator for the columns based on the volumes of destruction and additional loading factors, developed on the basis of numerical experiments. Five levels of responsibility of load-bearing structures are proposed, in particular for the columns of frame building, and reliability factor depending on the responsibility from γnk = 1.1 to γnk = 0.9 are proposed. The results of spatial calculations of a multistorey frame with the alternate exclusion of columns from the calculation schemes were used as the basis for the calculation models; five zones of the state of the floor structures are identified from the complete destruction of the floor with a break in reinforcement, violation of anchorage and the fall of part of the structure to the fifth zone in which the operating conditions are practically not violated. As a result, the use of reliability factors depending on the responsibility of load-bearing elements in the example under consideration resulted in material savings of up to 2%.
